Dr. Christy Richardson, DDS, opened Folly Beach Family Dentistry in 2007 on the beautiful island of Folly Beach. She also envisioned providing self care and wellness services, so she converted a cozy bungalow on the property into her intimate Medi Spa. Offering relaxing massage, rejuvenating facials, professional laser services and even more, she feels extremely grateful to see her vision become a reality. Joined by a passionate team of caring and knowledgeable individuals, Dr. Christy is so grateful to share this zen-filled space, and this incredible talent, with her Folly Beach community and the surrounding Charleston area.

As an esthetician for 15 years, my love for skincare has grown along with the modalities, techniques and products I incorporate into every treatment. Using the best of what Nature has to offer through organic skincare as well as utilizing the best of science for advanced treatment, we can love your skin into wellness together. As a mom to the most beautiful young boy I could dream of, I know very well that the care I give myself translates into a feeling of well being that serves him and those I love.

Massage Therapist

Josh began studying massage therapy in 2002 at Palmetto Jujitsu and Healing Arts, focusing on Okazaki Restoration Massage. For the last 6 years he has done sports Medicine for the USC Football and Basketball Athletic departments. He utilizes deep tissue, Swedish, nueromuscular, and rolfing elements to nurture, heal and restore.
